At this year's Summer Fair, on Saturday 16th July, as well as all the old favourites, such as bric-a-brac, dog show, stalls, games, there will also be a Silent Auction with some incredible 'lots' to bid on.

For those unfamiliar with a Silent Auction, here's some info: A silent auction has a certain amount of 'lots' that visitors to the fair can bid on. Each 'lot' has its own specific bid sheet. To place a bid, you'll be assigned a number so that you can bid anonymously and you can then write down the highest amount you would be willing to pay for each 'lot' you're interested in. You can bid on as many lots as you like. Once the auction is closed, the 'lots' go to the individuals with the highest bids and you will be contacted by the committee to arrange payment (via BACS transfer) and to arrange collection of your item/voucher.

The whole catalogue is available via this link to the Summer Fair website ... the lots range from 4 tickets with hospitality to The Oval in August, a helicopter ride, signed football shirts, a golf day with lunch for 4, home cooked meals, pub meals, flowers, Air BnB stays, soft furnishings, pony rides, photo shoots, yoga sessions ... there's even a lambing day!
