A PSPO is an order that is enforceable under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. They are used to protect the public from behaviour that is having or is likely to have a detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the locality and it is persistent and unreasonable or is likely to be persistent and unreasonable.

There is a current dog control PSPO in respect of dog fouling which came into effect on 17 October 2017 and this is valid for 3 years (or until it is replaced). It is proposed to replace this order with a new order. Please follow this link for full details of the proposed order.
